Max Emanuel's Army again from the Todd Collection Part 1

Here is the List of Illustrations that accompanied the original issue of The Army of the Blue King and it breaks the folio down into the time periods represented by each plate.

The late Colonel Todd in his role as Chief Librarian at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point also had a series of hand colored prints done to illustrate the Army of the Blue King and these plates will follow in this and future postings.

These are in the order in which we found them in the folio but most all the plates are noted with a title at the bottom.

You will note that the mid-blue here is rendered a little darker that in the original folio.  I particularly like the grey coat and purple facing shown for the Regiment Rummel.
